RAJNITI- A FILM INSPIRED BY MAHABHARAT
Last weekend I watched Rajniti the film.
I like Prakash Jha's way of story telling reason being , it does not bore you, script moves fast , action is real and nice.
this is a movie also on a political theme - largely on a northern india's political scenario is visible but lot of inspiration from Mahabharat, though would have like Krishna aka Nana Patekar's larger role compared to Duryodhana aka Manoj Bajpayee's role .
this is a dream role for someone like Ranbir Kapoor , one who is less than five films old in the industry couldnt have asked for more to establish one's credentials as star actor .
if you catch the theme early , next scene is expected and the whole film falls in place by the interval.yes, it has shades of God father and great tamasha of reality of politics in it.
I would surely recommend to watch .
go and enjoy the good cinema.

Summer in Ahmedabad
Ahha, I am back , though after a while, but was busy in resettling myself back in to ahmedabad, in to my new job role and have been travelling quite extensively to parts of northindia.
though it cannot be an excuse for not writing and expressing myself.
it is scorching summer in ahmedabad, mercury touching 47 degress celsius is just too much to jhelo , neverthless this will also pass .
this is very quick way of feeling myself back to blogging, would come back with more very soon.

Many Congratulations to Sachin and my thoughts on leadership
Today, the most celebrated cricketer of india , the living legend Sachin tendulkar completes 20 years in international cricket , Many congratulations to him for achieving this marvellous feat. The only second cricketer in world to do so after Great Sir Gary Sobers. Wonderful Achievement but few questions .....?????
1. Sachin has scored 45 centuries in ODIs for India and India have won 32 matches out of that , what a fantastic record,you will say but pl read on .............
Ricky Ponting and Sanath Jayasurya have scored 28 centuries for their respective countries and their teams have won 24 times , impressive you will agree,
Desmond Haynes (trust you remember him ) have scored 20 centuries and his team has won 18 times , very impressive again you will say ...
Our dear destiny's child Sourav Ganguly has scored 22 centuries in his controversial career and India has won 18 times , poor Sourav , summarily given marching orders from oneday and test teams for faults only known to bunch of jokers........but pl read on...
what I call playing for team, playing for country is Mr Adam Gilchrist , 16 centuries in international cricket and Australia have won all 16 matches, staggering is I would say .
I am not wanting to get in to debate of Sachin's greatness here, he is without doubt the best cricketer India ever produced , but facts speaks for themselves and the debate will go on.
The greatness is not in achieving laurels for self while you play a team game, but in ensuring your greatness helps team in winning , winning is everything ofcourse yes, but while the team wins it is a sign of great leader.
This example can aptly be used in our corporate world, in my career I have seen fantastic individuals but average leaders , hence they have grown very fast as an individual but their teams have failed miserably .
The ability to put team ahead of self , able to think outside the box and having an ability to visulise things for people and taking them through is absolutely a skill which is rare .
the first cut of thoughts,chalo having to go and meet someone, will be back with more .

Wrongside Ahmedabad
since roads have started becoming wider and to ensure smooth flow of traffic, entry points are getting blocked by the authorities , the new menace on ahmedabad roads are visible.
PEOPLE OF ALL CLASS,ALL TYPES OF VEHICLES DRIVING RAMPANTLY ON THE WRONG SIDE.
Last Saturday , I was passing through Nehrunagar cross roads and was stuck due to traffic jam and after a while it got cleared and what I am seeing is completely baffling me, A lady driver , accompanied by another female friend driving Brand New Honda City - this leads me to believe that lady comes froma affluent family and would have been educated well enough to know english and traffic rules, was on a wrong side of a road and abusing Driver of the bus and all passer by who were trying to put some sense in to her .
This is new ahmedabad for all of us , though they saying still stands that "Jab Kutte pe Sassa aaya tab Badshah ne Shaher Basaya " and that is how ahmedabad came in to existence, which also gives you understanding that the power of air and water in ahmedabad gives strength to anyone , but this is just mind boggling ,
first She is on the wrong side- the fault of breaking the law, blocking the traffic and causing national wastage of fuel and creating pollution and top of it abusing from an airconditioned top end car to people who are standing on road, completely shameless behaviour .
This calls for introspection for everyone , the list is very long , people who believe in women lib, go easy on traffic offenders, no harsher punishment of violation of law, scent respect for fellow commuters , capitalism in the society (or it is ok to have unequal distribution of wealth) , people in the traffic and police department, the it goes on......
My understanding here is that , discipline comes from within, it is like believing in God, or Truth . It is a question of answering self - will it be right if I do this ? will it be ok if people do this to me ? and this also speaks volumes about our society is shaping for future , I saw even kids stuck in the traffic( kids returning on a saturday afternoon from school ) and looking at the women helplessly who was depriving them of early lunch and waiting in the hot sun .
I am looking for diving intervention to correct things here....
and pardon me for putting my thoughts randomly.....
